Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day

On November 14th, 1960, Ruby Bridges made history as the first student to integrate an interracial school. Nearly four decades later, she established her own foundation with the aim of eradicating bullying and fostering equality and harmony in schools. The California State Legislature has officially designated November 14th as Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. This academic year, Eden Gardens participated in a unified walk in tribute to Ruby Bridges and her impactful mission.
